Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and groundskeeping, with the ability to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces. This role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, performing essential lawn care tasks, and ensuring the health and aesthetic appeal of our clients' properties.
Duties
- Perform regular lawn care activities, including mowing, aerating, fertilizing, and watering to promote healthy grass growth.
- Execute landscape maintenance tasks such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees while ensuring proper irrigation techniques are applied.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery for groundskeeping duties, including trimming trees and hedges to maintain a neat appearance.
- Dig, build, and maintain flower beds, retaining walls, and other landscape features as required.
- Inspect lawns and landscapes for signs of pests or diseases and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
Experience
- Previous experience in groundskeeping or lawn care is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus for operating and maintaining landscaping equipment effectively.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance practices will be advantageous.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.
