Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and aeration to maintain healthy turf and lush landscapes
- Use hand tools and power tools to prune trees, shrubs, and hedges with precision and care
- Operate landscaping equipment such as excavators, snow plows, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, fertilizing, mulching, and weed control
- Install hardscape features like patios, walkways, retaining walls, and garden beds to enhance outdoor aesthetics
- Carry out seasonal services such as snow plowing and tree trimming to ensure year-round landscape health and safety
- Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools and power tools
- Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape design concepts is a plus
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators or irrigation systems is advantageous
- Strong understanding of tree care practices including pruning and trimming techniques
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety and maintenance procedures
