You're the person patients remember.

Not because you have the right answer every time. Because you make them feel like someone was actually listening.

You're good at things that are hard to teach — reading a room, keeping your head when things get busy, making someone feel welcome before they've even sat down. You notice when something's off. You fix it before anyone has to ask.

You want a job where that actually matters. Where the front desk isn't just a checkpoint — it's the first impression, the last interaction, and everything in between.

At ProMotion Rehab, that's exactly what this role is.

We're a physical therapy and fitness practice with five clinics across South Carolina. Our patients come to us dealing with pain, frustration, and often a lot of uncertainty. The person at the front — our Patient Relations Specialist — sets the tone for all of it.

We're looking for someone who's genuinely good at this kind of work. If you've been waiting for a place where your skills are seen as essential, not overhead — this might be it.

How We Work — Our Core Values

These aren't wall art. They're how we actually operate every day.

FUN

Bring energy to the room. Patients are often anxious when they call — your tone can shift that before they even walk in the door.

EXCELLENCE

Get it right, especially when it's hard. Accurate records, answered calls, details that don't slip — it all adds up.

EDUCATION

We invest in our team's growth and we expect curiosity in return. Learn the job deeply. Share what you know.

COMMUNITY

Show up for your teammates the same way you show up for patients. This team depends on each other — and it shows.

What You'll Do

Patient Experience

  • Be the first voice patients hear — on the phone, at the desk, and in every message in between
  • Enter new patient demographics accurately and on time into our EMR
  • Schedule new and follow-up appointments; manage provider capacity and overbooking based on arrival patterns
  • Collect payments at time of service and ensure payment methods are on file
  • Direct insurance and billing questions to the right people
  • Make sure graduating patients leave a review — and leave feeling celebrated

Office Operations

  • Keep the front office running: phones, fax, kiosk, scanner, EMR document routing
  • Process discharges and keep records current
  • Assist with insurance authorizations, medical record requests, and dry needling consent tracking
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, well-run clinic

What We're Looking For

You don't need a specific degree or prior PT experience. You need to be someone who:

  • Stays calm when it's busy and sharp when it matters
  • Cares about getting things right — not just getting them done
  • Communicates clearly and doesn't let things fall through
  • Shows up for the team the same way you'd want someone to show up for you

This is also a role where your phone presence matters. We hear from a lot of patients every day, and each call is someone's first — or most important — interaction with us. The right person for this role is comfortable on the phone, knows how to make someone feel heard in a short amount of time, and understands that a well-handled call can be the difference between a patient who shows up and one who doesn't.

Our purpose: Empowering others to live their best lives.

That starts with the first phone call. If this sounds like the work you're meant to do, apply.
