Summary of Responsibilities
The Activities Director is responsible for planning and carrying out activities for the patients staying at our facility. These activities can include crafting projects, group events, field trips, and recreational activities. The activities director must have great communication with other departments regarding activity planning to ensure that they can consider the health needs, abilities, and general interests of each participant. The activities director must conduct and supervise of all activity functions and keep an adequate record system for obtaining, recording, and filing of activities data. Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum one (1) year experience in event planning or other healthcare environment is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to achieve high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is in good working order to get to and from work in all weather conditions to ensure reliability.
