Promofect is a fast-growing branded merchandise company specializing in custom-decorated apparel and promotional products. We serve Fortune 500 companies, schools, fire & police departments, fast-growing startups, and national brands through a mix of in-house production, quick-turn custom solutions, and tech-powered online stores.
We’ve built out strong internal systems, added key team members in account management, tech, and support — and now we’re ready to add a real sales leader who can help us level up.
The Role
This is a hybrid leadership role for someone who loves selling but is also energized by mentoring others, building systems, and setting a tone for the team.
You’ll work closely with our CEO, support team, and in-house marketing function — owning a book of business while also helping shape the sales process, hold others accountable, and ensure the entire sales engine is moving in the right direction.
You Will:
- Own and grow key client relationships — focusing on new business and strategic accounts
- Guide and support reps through coaching, process building, and deal troubleshooting
- Help improve our quoting and follow-up systems to ensure better conversion and faster sales cycles
- Bring sales visibility into HubSpot: tracking performance, tightening data, and making sure nothing slips
- Collaborate with marketing to align on outbound messaging, campaigns, and lead gen efforts
- Jump in to close — especially on larger opportunities or deals in motion
- Contribute ideas around commission structure, incentives, and scaling the team over time
You Are:
- A strong closer with at least 4–6 years of sales experience, ideally in B2B, service-based, or product-based sales
- A natural leader — someone who’s either led a team or been a top rep ready to take that next step
- Organized, energetic, and detail-oriented
- Tech-comfortable: you don’t need to be a systems builder, but you’re confident in tools like HubSpot, Excel, and email sequences
- Excited to work in-person, side-by-side with the team, and help build something meaningful
- Comfortable being part of a fast-moving, sometimes scrappy, but always committed team
