Screen Room Technician

The Role
We’re looking for a hands‑on Screen Room Technician to own the preparation, maintenance, and readiness of screens for our screen printing operation. This role is critical to production flow—if screens aren’t right, nothing downstream works. You’ll work closely with press operators and production to ensure screens are done right, on time, every time.
This is not an entry‑level “help out” role. We need someone who understands process, quality, and urgency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coat, expose, wash out, tape, and block screens to production specs
- Reclaim, de‑ink, and thoroughly clean screens for reuse
- Inspect screens for pinholes, under/over‑exposure, tension issues, and defects
- Stage and label screens by press and production schedule
- Maintain screen inventory, emulsions, chemicals, and consumables
- Keep the screen room clean, organized, and process‑disciplined
- Perform routine maintenance on exposure units, washout booths, and reclaim systems
- Communicate clearly with press operators and production when issues arise
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a screen printing screen room (preferred)
- Working knowledge of emulsions, exposure, reclaiming, and screen prep workflows
- Strong attention to detail—quality problems don’t sneak past you
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced production environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Team‑oriented, but capable of working independently when needed
Bonus (Not Required)
- Experience supporting automated presses
- Familiarity with production schedules and job tracking
- DTF or heat‑press exposure
