Qualifications/Education and Experience:
1. CDA; Associate Degree or higher, in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or other related degree with a minimum of 12 credits in ECE including coursework related to Early Childhood education.
2. One to two years’ experience working in Early Childhood education
3. Requires a working level knowledge of child development and appropriate practices.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Requires the health and physical capability to work in an office or classroom; including sitting on the floor or in child-sized chairs, bending, running, climbing stairs and the ability to lift children weighing up to 40lbs.
6. Access to reliable transportation.
7. Must initially receive, and subsequently maintain, full federal and state clearances allowing unsupervised contact with children. Any prospective or current employee who has an indication of child abuse/maltreatment or neglect, or who cannot be left unsupervised with children will not be retained.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
