What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus/Van Aide (Montoursville) position at Promised Land Busing Inc.?
- Small Family-Owned Busing Company seeking to hire van/bus aide
- Company is contracted to Montoursville School District and transport students to and from their locations plus other locations in the surrounding areas.
- This is a great opportunity for college students, homemakers, and/or retired person seeking part-time work to supplement their income
- You are responsible to help the bus/van driver safely transport students via a smaller type school bus or van to and from school while abiding all laws
- You must pass background clearances with the school district
- Hours vary but can total approximately 5-6 hours per day where you work in the morning and afternoon having an approximate break between 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
- Schedule begins each day at approximately 6 a.m.
- School holidays and weekends off
- No evening hours and summer employment is optional
- Must be willing to drive to and from the Bus Barn in rural area of Montoursville and be flexible for early dismissals, etc.
- Must complete School clearance process and be approved by school district
- Must be flexible, reliable and looking for long term employment and have reliable transportation
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
