The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is responsible for the direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services under the supervision of a BCBA. The RBT ensures that all interventions are delivered with fidelity, maintains accurate data collection, and supports the client’s progress toward individualized treatment goals.
Core Duties:
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs
- Follow treatment plans and BIPs as written by the BCBA
- Collect and record session data accurately and in real time
- Assist in generalization of skills across environments
- Maintain professional and ethical standards per BACB guidelines
- Participate in supervision and ongoing training
