Prominent is looking for a Quality Automation Engineer for our client in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This is a contract to hire opportunity and 100% onsite. The Quality Automation Engineer designs and maintains automated testing solutions using Playwright for UI and API testing, aiming to enhance software reliability and speed up release cycles. Duties will include:
- Utilizing Playwright for automation using TypeScript/JavaScript.
- Developing automated test scripts, enhancing automation frameworks, executing UI/API testing, and improving test coverage to reduce manual effort.
- Working closely with development and product teams to identify, report, and resolve defects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in QA/testing and automated testing.
- Proficiency with Playwright and modern web testing tools.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, and collaboration within Agile teams.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
