Prominent is looking to add a Scrum Master / Project Manager (Infrastructure & Security) to their team. This is an onsite contract role (1 year) based in Omaha, NE or Greenwood Village, CO. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading Agile delivery across infrastructure and security initiatives within a highly technical environment undergoing cloud and Agile transformation.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and coordinate Agile Sprints across cross-functional, cross-departmental, and cross-company teams
- Drive delivery of infrastructure, security, application, and technical implementation projects
- Manage complex, high-priority initiatives including implementations, conversions, audit remediations, and program phases
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming
- Partner with technical engineers and developers to drive solutions and ensure successful delivery
- Communicate project status, risks, issues, and priorities to both technical and business stakeholders
- Manage scope, timelines, dependencies, and change management across initiatives
- Operate effectively in a hybrid environment transitioning from on-prem to cloud architecture and waterfall to Agile methodologies
- Influence teams by clearly conveying business urgency and prioritization
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and enhance delivery efficiency
- Coordinate resources and activities to ensure timely project execution from initiation through closure
- Provide consultative input on system capabilities, product features, and technical solutions
What You Need:
- 5 years of project management experience, including Agile/Scrum delivery
- Proven experience leading complex IT infrastructure and/or security-focused projects
- Experience working with technical teams including engineers and developers
- Strong client-facing experience with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities
- Experience managing risk, issues, and scope in Agile environments
- Ability to pass additional background checks as required
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (required for government-related work)
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or other Agile certifications
- Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
- Experience working with U.S. Federal or government-related projects
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, security, and cloud transformation initiatives
Hourly Pay Range: $60 - $64
