PGS is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide highlevel administrative support to a Department of Defense customer. In this role, you will serve as a critical partner to the directorate, ensuring smooth daytoday operations and effective coordination across leadership and staff.
The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive administrative support, including executive scheduling, travel coordination, correspondence management, task tracking, documentation, meeting and event support, and general office operations. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
This is afulltime, onsite position located at Fort Meade, MD, with work hours Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary administrative partner to senior leadership, managing daily operations including executive correspondence, high-level phone calls, visitors, and records with professionalism and discretion
- Draft, edit, and format executive-level documents, presentations, reports, briefings, and official correspondence in support of leadership priorities
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel arrangements, including authorizations, itineraries, and vouchers, using the Defense Travel System (DTS) and related platforms
- Track executive taskings, suspense dates, and action items using government tracking and workflow management systems, ensuring timely completion and follow-up
- Plan and manage logistics for executive meetings, conferences, and events, including agenda development, room reservations, audiovisual coordination, and stakeholder engagement
- Maintain and optimize executive calendars, SharePoint sites, filing systems, and office procedures to ensure efficient information flow and operational continuity
- Prepare, consolidate, and distribute staff meeting materials, executive readahead packages, activity reports, and decision briefs
- Monitor executive inboxes and correspondence channels, prioritize and delegate assignments, and facilitate communication across internal and external stakeholders
- Retrieve, analyze, and synthesize information from files, databases, and records to support executive decision-making and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required
- Minimum offour (4) years of administrative experience supporting military or government operations
- Exceptionalorganizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in theMicrosoft Office Suite and enterprise collaboration tools
- Strongverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, professional correspondence
- Demonstrated ability tomanage multiple priorities effectively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment
- Customerservice oriented professional with the ability tointerface effectively with personnel at all organizational levels
