**POSITION SUMMARY:

Fabrication of chemical feed equipment, including pipe fitting – including using PVC, CPVC and stainless steel pipe – structural support, machining and assembly as required and directed by the project scope, ensuring manufacturing accuracy against drawings or blueprints.

**Primary Responsibilities:
**
Bring inaccuracies or problems with drawings to the attention of the Foreman.
Build fluid control systems out of piping by following design.
Functional testing of completed systems.
Maintain personal inventory and condition of tools.
Confirm pulled parts with Bills of Material and report failed parts.

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

**Required:
**
One-year manufacturing work experience.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: welding, machinist, home improvement tasks, plumbing.
Mechanical aptitude.
Must be able to read a tape measurer.
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.
Manual dexterity and skill in use of hand tools.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Work independently and with others.
Able to work overtime as required.
Mathematical skills – including addition and subtraction of fractions.
Basic computer skills.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to analyze mechanical and electro/mechanical system failures and to work with schematic drawings.
Must be able to pass in-house forklift certification.
Position required constant physical movement (standing, bending, kneeling, stretching) in order to handle all functions of position.
