Job Summary
The Marketing Events Manager is responsible for owning the end-to-end process of producing high-impact first- and third-party marketing events globally — from strategy and logistics to execution and post-event performance analysis. This role works closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver memorable experiences that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, lead generation, and revenue, all while staying within budget and generating clear ROI. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end execution of in-person marketing events globally — including first- and third-party trade shows, roadshows, meetings, and conferences — from strategic planning through post-event analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to align event strategy with campaign and revenue objectives, and research new opportunities to grow the event portfolio.
- Set event goals and targets, tracking ROI and KPIs, including lead generation, sales pipeline influence, and customer engagement metrics, using Salesforce to monitor post-event opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage all event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor management, booth design, swag/merchandise, show services, signage, shipping, on-site staffing, and attendee travel and registration.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors, venues, and event partners to ensure quality and value.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost tracking, and spend optimization.
- Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote events via email, social media, and other digital channels, ensuring consistent brand representation across all materials and touchpoints.
- Lead pre- and post-event debriefs to prepare onsite team, capture insights, document best practices, and recommend improvements for future events.
- Travel for event setup and execution as needed, overseeing on-site operations, supervising staff, and resolving any issues or challenges that arise.
Required Skills and Expertise

- Strong team player with a collaborative approach
- Ability to learn technical/software products preferred
Education and Experience
- BA/BS Degree
- 3 year's event marketing experience in B2B services and/or technology industry preferred.
- Proven track record managing and executing tradeshows, conferences, and other marketing events.
- High level of proficiency with various software applications programs including Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Excel as well as marketing and event management software and tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce and Asana.
