Position SummaryPrometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies, seeking multiple Power Apps & Power Platform developers to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with federal agency clients, particularly the VA/VHA, to design, develop, and maintain innovative business solutions using Canvas Power Apps and Power Automate, with selective integration with SharePoint Online. Your expertise will streamline processes, drive automation, and elevate user productivity across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPower Apps Development & DesignLead full lifecycle Canvas Power Apps development, requirements gathering, prototyping, build, testing, and deploymentDesign reusable component libraries and implement robust business logic using formulas and component frameworksOptimize app performance, accessibility, and mobile responsivenessPower Automate & Workflow AutomationArchitect and build advanced Power Automate flows to automate approvals, notifications, and data orchestrationImplement error handling, logging, and retry policies for mission-critical workflowsIntegrate flows with Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIsSharePoint IntegrationConfigure SharePoint Online lists and libraries as data sources for Power Apps and flowsImplement basic list formatting, view customizations, and permission inheritance to support the automated processDataverse & Data ManagementModel entities, relationships, and security roles in Microsoft Dataverse to underpin apps and flowsDevelop data validation rules, business process flows, and Power Pages portals as neededStakeholder Collaboration & TrainingPartner with business SMEs to translate requirements into technical designs and user storiesDevelop training materials, deliver workshops, and provide ongoing supportGovernance & Best PracticesDefine environment strategies, solution packaging (ALM), connectors governance, and data loss prevention (DLP) policiesEnforce naming conventions, version control, and release pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitContinuous ImprovementStay current with Power Platform and Microsoft 365 innovationsRecommend and implement best practices to improve maintainability, security, and user adoptionMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldFive (5) years of hands-on experience in Canvas Power Apps developmentFive (5) years of experience in designing and building Power Automate flows, including approvals and error handlingTwo (2) years of experience in configuring SharePoint Online lists/libraries for integration with Power PlatformProficiency in Microsoft Dataverse modeling, security, ALM, and DLP frameworksExcellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAuthorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorshipAbility to obtain a public trustPreferred QualificationMicrosoft Certified in PL-100, PL-200 and PL-400One (1) year of direct VA/VHA project experience within a Government Community Cloud (GCC)Experience building component libraries and custom connectorsFamiliarity with Power Pages, AI Builder, or Virtual AgentsAll qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.This position may be subject to client or government vaccination, policy, or requirements that may change from time to time.The work location is flexible if the company approves it, except that the position may not be performed remotely from Colorado.PFS offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability insurance, life insurance, a retirement plan, paid time off, remote work, and other benefits to accommodate what matters most to you and your family.
