Job Description
Promenet provides consulting, integration (projects), and managed services to clients located primarily across New York City, but also globally. We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals with a basic understanding of audio, video, point-of-sale, and some desktop services/support for an onsite position in downtown Manhattan. This position is hands-on, and requires excellent communications skills and fluency in spoken and written English. We will provide training for other aspects of the job, such as switching, routing, firewalls, and security.

Responsibilities
- Support end users and customer networks.
- Daily hands-on interaction with network and Unified Communications troubleshooting.
- Serve as an integral resource (or leader) in projects, adhering to committed deliverables, and regular communication of progress to management.
- Fulfill certification and training roadmap, as set forth by senior staff and management.
- Work outside of standard posted hours, as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in the following: Audio equipment, point-of-sale equipment, and Windows operating systems.
- Ability to think critically, excellent reasoning and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritizing multiple objectives and initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proper phone etiquette is a must.
- Willingness to dedicate personal time to the pursuit of knowledge and furtherance of career.
Helpful Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related major.
- Previous experience with ticketing systems, such as Autotask or ConnectWise.
- Familiarity with client-facing technical work and consulting services.
- Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange.
- Network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Switching/routing technologies.
Work Schedule
- Wednesday through Sunday, Noon – 11PM.
