Role Description
ProMedica is seeking a highly-qualified Director of Surgical Services for a full-time, on-site position at its Toledo, OH location. The Director will oversee the operations of surgical services, including planning, directing, and managing overall clinical and administrative functions. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality patient care, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, optimizing resource utilization, supervising staff, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance efficiency and outcomes in surgical areas. The Director will lead strategic initiatives to improve performance, patient satisfaction, and foster professional development for the surgical services staff.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills
- Extensive knowledge and experience in surgical services operations, including perioperative processes, compliance requirements, and quality improvement
- Ability to analyze data and develop strategies for improving clinical efficiency and patient outcomes
- Proven skills in effective communication, problem resolution, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant healthcare-related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid RN license in the state of Ohio (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience in surgical services
