What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Courier Driver - Independent Contractor position at ProMed Logistics?
Looking for couriers to join our team as we are growing!
Must drive your own vehicle.
This is primarily picking up at nursing homes and delivering to Grand Island Regional Hospital. Pick ups are generally small, light lab samples. All supplies and training will be provided.
We pay a set on call pay of $50 per day, you will likely average 1-2 orders at most per day, but if you deliver more we will up the pay based on volume. You will likely make 50 dollars for one delivery and there will be days you will not get any deliveries and still make 50 dollars for that day and being available. We are just looking for someone to be on call to service this account. This is generally M-F, week days only and usually during business hours.
This is a great opportunity for retired applicants as you will have to have fairly open availability.
We are a local company with 20 years experience in medical delivery.
Looking for a contractor who is professional in manner, dress and attitude. Dependable, outgoing and good at communication. Car or van is fine.
Attention to detail is an absolute must. Very personable business so customer service is critical. Perfect for part time income or someone who wants to make this a career. Retired people welcome. You must be able to demonstrate customer service experience.
Must be willing to drive in all weather and service accounts with the utmost in professionalism and customer service.
Must be able to operate smart phone and move between different applications on phone. Can work with driver to train on apps.
The upscale delivery of medicine, lab and medical supplies is very rewarding. Helping others who desperately need what you are delivering, sometimes in critical situations.
You do NOT need CDL. Medical background not necessary. This is year round. Must have cell smart phone. All deliveries are electronic so smart phone is a must.
You will be given a background and drug check.
