Responsibilities

• Measure and cut siding and window materials accurately using hand tools and power tools to ensure perfect fitment.
• Install various types of siding including metal, Lp and fiber cement with attention to detail and safety standards.
• Fit and secure windows in accordance with schematics, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, framing, or applying weatherproofing materials before installation.
• Use construction estimating skills to assess project scope, materials needed, and timelines for efficient project execution.
• Operate heavy lifting equipment safely to move large siding panels or windows into position on the job site.
• Perform finishing tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, and sealing to ensure a polished appearance and weather-tight installation.
• Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, masonry, plumbing, or framing teams when necessary for seamless project completion.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout the job.

Requirements

• Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, screwdrivers), power tools (drills, saws), and fabrication equipment.
• Knowledge of construction estimating methods and blueprint reading essential for planning tasks effectively.
• Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly while maintaining safety protocols during heavy lifting tasks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on diverse projects.
