What are the responsibilities and job description for the Metal Trimmer position at Proman Staffing?
Metal Trimmer Job information:
- 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.
- $16 for training and 1st shift, $16.50 for 2nd shift, $16.75 for 3rd shift.
Metal Trimmer Duties:
- Inspect casting for visual defects
- Sand, De-burr, Leak test, Clean, Sort, File casting, vibrate, machining, and heat stressing as required
- Pack casting as required in correct packaging containers and insure proper piece counts
- Fill out all paperwork as required (scrap reports and labor reports)
- Update Supervisor on condition of work being performed
- Leave your work area clean at the end of your shift
- Communicate problems to the next shift, and or Supervisor
- Follow instructions on visual aids
- Other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Must Pass Drug Screen
- Must be able to train on 1st shift for up to a week
