PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known Jet Engine and Land Turbine manufacturer in Greer, SC to hire a CNC Machine operator
We are hiring an EXPERIENCED CNC Operator in Greer, SC.
1st shift 6am-2pm
$18.00-22.00 per hour Depending on experience
CNC Operator Summary:
- Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, etc.
- Interpreting GD&T
- Verifying and planning inventory, placing orders
- Programming and setting up mills and lathes
- Loading feed mechanism
- Verify machine settings
- Maintain specs
- Maintain a clean and safe area and operation
- Maintain equipment
- Maintain continuity
- Documentation of Quality and production logs
CNC Operator Qualifications:
- Control machines and processes
- Computer operation
- Effective communication skills in English
- Tooling knowledge, Functional and technical skills
- Inventory control and knowledge
- Attention to details
- Ability to analyze and evaluate results
- Ability to operate computerized machinery
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, technical drawings
