PROMAN Staffing has partnered with an American retail chain that sells home furnishings. We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Benefits Specialist in Boston Heights, OH
This is a temp to hire role with a pay rate of $38 per hour
Benefits Specialist Job Summary
· Administer and oversee all benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, supplemental benefits, 401(k) plans, wellness programs, disability, leave policies, and workers’ compensation
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA while managing reporting requirements
· Perform reconciliation and auditing of carrier invoices
· Conduct benefit orientations
Benefits Specialist Job Qualifications
· Degree in human resources or a related field is preferred. (Bachelor or Associate)
· 5 years’ experience in benefits administration with a focus on Employee Health and welfare Programs and 401(k) plans
· Proficiency in HRIS reporting and data entry with strong analytical skills. Preference for UKG/UtiliPro experience
· In depth knowledge of compliance requirements
· Ability to maintain confidentiality
