Assembly Packaging Technician

Position Summary:Responsible for assembling, packaging, inspecting, and preparing magnetron components and assemblies according to company procedures, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and package magnetron assemblies and related components
• Follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and production procedures
• Use hand tools, soldering equipment, wire cutters, and measuring devices
• Perform soldering and basic electrical assembly tasks
• Inspect parts for defects, damage, or improper connections
• Clean, prep, bead blast, and test components as required
• Prepare wires, leads, and tubing for assembly
• Handle adhesives, primers, silicone materials, and potting compounds safely
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow revision-controlled instructions
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards at all times
• Keep work area clean and organized

Equipment & Tools Used:

• Soldering iron and solder pot (willing to train)
• Wire cutters and strippers
• Vise and magnifying devices
• Pressure/vacuum equipment
• Temperature chambers and testing equipment
• Cleaning and bead blasting tools

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience helpful
• Soldering experience or certification preferred
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
• Use of hands for repetitive assembly tasks
• Ability to lift light to moderate materials
• Good vision for detailed inspection work

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing and production setting
• Exposure to tools, chemicals, and assembly materials
• PPE may be required depending on task assignment

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
