Lead Maintenance Mechanic

Job description:

Our client is seeking a Lead Maintenance Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading maintenance operations, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment, and ensuring safe and efficient facility performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance staff in troubleshooting equipment issues
• Use eMaint to schedule and assign maintenance tasks
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and test production machinery
• Manage parts inventory and coordinate with vendors
• Operate machine shop tools (lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses)
• Support general facility and building maintenance
• Maintain a safe, clean, compliant work environment
• Experience w/ Presses or Flexographic Presses a plus, not required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical training preferred
• 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic repair skills
• Fork truck and scissor lift experience
• Electrician certification a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment

• Exposure to machinery, chemicals, and loud noise; PPE may be required
