Proman Skilled Trades is actively seeking experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics/Helpers, focused on new construction and retrofit projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional job sites.

Key Responsibilities for Sheet Metal Mechanics
- Install, assemble, and secure HVAC duct systems, including rectangular, spiral, and round duct
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
- Perform layout, measurements, and job site coordination
- Install VAV systems, dampers, diffusers, grilles, and registers
- Handle hangers, supports, and seismic bracing installation
- Perform field modifications and fabrication as needed
- Ensure proper airflow alignment and sealing (SMACNA standards)
- Coordinate with other trades (electrical, plumbing, piping) to avoid conflicts
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and OSHA regulations
For Sheet Metal Helpers
- Assist mechanics with duct installation and material handling
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized work areas
- Measure, cut, and prep materials under supervision
- Help install hangers, supports, insulation, and sealed connections
- Use basic hand and power tools safely
- Follow instructions from lead mechanics and supervisors
- Maintain job site cleanliness and safe working conditions

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work at heights (ladders, lifts, scaffolding)
- Lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly
- Work in various environments (heat, cold, tight spaces)
- Stand, kneel, bend, and climb throughout the day
Salary : $25 - $32
