HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic (Commercial)

Proman Skilled Trades is hiring experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanics for commercial projects in the Melbourne, FL area. This is a hands-on role focused on installing, repairing, and replacing sheet metal and fiberglass ductwork while working from blueprints and schematics.
Job Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace HVAC ductwork (sheet metal and fiberglass)
- Read and interpret HVAC blueprints, schematics, and manuals
- Install duct systems and related HVAC equipment in commercial buildings
- Operate man lifts, duct jacks, and other job-site equipment safely
- Maintain quality workmanship while meeting job-site deadlines
Requirements
- 3 years of commercial HVAC sheet metal experience
- Experience with HVAC duct installation and related equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Own required hand tools for HVAC duct installation
- Reliable transportation
- Experience operating man lifts and duct jacks
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Willing to travel to assigned project locations
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be US Citizen, no work Visas accepted
