Provide strategic leadership with accountability for aftermarket parts and services. The Director of Aftermarket Business will lead a team of parts specialists, service technicians, and sales managers, to deliver exceptional responsiveness, reliability, and value to our customers. The ideal candidate combines strong commercial acumen, technical understanding and a leadership maturity with a passion for continuous improvement and customer success.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute a comprehensive aftermarket growth strategy across parts, service, retrofits and technical support that aligns with company objectives.
- Own the full Aftermarket P&L, including budgeting, staffing, and pricing decisions to achieve revenue and margin targets.
- Drive customer retention and recurring revenue through preventive maintenance, rebuilds, upgrades, and lifecycle programs.
- Oversee quotation and order management, logistics, and billing for accuracy and timeliness.
- Establish and monitor KPIs and best practices for customer care, service scheduling, and fulfillment to deliver a consistent, world-class experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Marketing to resolve recurring issues, address obsolescence, and drive design improvements.
- Champion Lean practices and continuous improvement to enhance productivity, responsiveness, and cost performance.
- Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing team that exemplifies safety, professionalism, accountability, and customer focus.
- Foster a proactive customer engagement model with structured escalation and resolution protocols.
- 8 years of progressive experience in Aftermarket, Service, or Commercial roles.
- 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical/electrical equipment, parts manufacturing, and service delivery models.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and influence skills across functions with strong customer presence and poise.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and improving margins in a service-oriented business.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, build customer trust, and implement process improvements.
- Proficiency with ERP and CRM systems (e.g., Syteline, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Experience in automated industrial equipment or packaging machinery is strongly preferred.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
- Commercial mindset with solid pricing and financial acumen.
- Collaborative leader who develops talent and drives accountability.
- Customer-focused with a bias for results and operational excellence.
