Pharmaworks, a Pro Mach Company is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to join its team. The Director of Operations is a senior leadership role responsible for providing strategic direction and daily oversight of the safety, manufacturing, and facilities functions within a pharmaceutical packaging equipment manufacturing environment. This role ensures seamless coordination across departments to meet business goals, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. The Director will lead cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, custom-engineered equipment on time and within budget, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and safety.

Pharmaworks, a Pro Mach Company is seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to lead our production, project management, and facilities teams. This high-impact role will shape strategy, drive operational excellence, and ensure alignment with corporate goals and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations across manufacturing, project execution, and facilities.
• Develop strategic plans, budgets, staffing models, and KPIs.
• Champion lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, ISO, cGMP) and workplace safety.
• Oversee cross-functional project execution from kickoff to delivery.
• Serve as a senior advisor to internal departments and a point of escalation for key issues.
• Drive accountability, performance management, and team development.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field.
• 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or engineering management.
• Proven success in cross-functional leadership within capital equipment/custom machinery.
• Strong knowledge of lean, ERP systems, and manufacturing metrics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred:
• PMP certification
• Experience in regulated industries (pharma/life sciences)
• ISO 9001 and cGMP compliance background
• PE license
