Shipping & Receiving Associate, Manufacturing
Reporting to the Associate Director, Manufacturing
Required hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
Shipping
- Accurately process all outgoing customer orders
- Accurately prepare all necessary aliquots and labels prior to packaging, if necessary
- Add newly manufactured finished goods to inventory database
- Monitor the inventory of shipping supplies to maintain appropriate stock volumes
- Maintain a clean, organized and efficient environment by managing shipping space, workflows and equipment
- Monthly preventative maintenance of finished goods freezers
Receiving / Inventory Control
- Receive incoming raw materials and supplies and transfer and store in appropriate locations
- Monitor the inventory of receiving supplies to maintain appropriate stock volumes
- Maintain a clean, organized and efficient environment by managing receiving space, workflows and equipment
- Verify the accuracy of the finished goods and raw materials and supplies inventories versus the inventory control databases on a quarterly basis
- Report and help resolve discrepancies in raw materials/supplies and finished goods inventories
- Monitor and manage expiring lots of raw materials/supplies and finished goods and provide weekly reports to departmental leaders
- EOM reporting of inventory levels to Finance Team
Other
- Safely handle biohazardous material and coordinate waste pickup
- Maintain basic lab safety, blood-borne pathogen and ISO quality awareness
- Other jobs as assigned by departmental leaders
Job Requirements / Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School diploma (or equivalent) required with strong basic math skills with emphasis on data entry, conversions, and common scientific calculations. Previous experience with a similar role is desirable.
- Capable of lifting 40 pounds or less.

Pay: $42,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
