Sit-Down Forklift Operator
Location: Vinta Park, MO
Pay:
- Days: $17.00/hour (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
- Nights: $19.00/hour (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
Schedule:
- 4 Days On / 4 Days Off Rotation
- Consistent full-time hours with built-in days off
A leading chemical distribution company is seeking reliable and safety-focused Sit-Down Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely moving, storing, loading, and unloading products while maintaining accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers
- Move and stage materials throughout the warehouse
- Verify product quantities and documentation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
- Previous sit-down forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable attendance and positive work ethic
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred
