Role Description
Traveling Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)Location: Los Angeles, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Dates: December 8–12
Shifts Available: Days or Nights
Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a leading hospital system in Los Angeles, California. This contract offers competitive weekly compensation, flexible shift options, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department. Ideal candidates will have strong critical-thinking skills, thrive in high-pressure environments, and have proven experience in Level I or Level II trauma settings.
The ER RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to patients experiencing medical emergencies. Duties include but are not limited to:
• Rapid assessment and triage of patients
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitoring vital signs and clinical status
• Collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Responding to trauma alerts and code situations
• Providing emotional support to patients and families
• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience
• Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required
• Strong critical-thinking and emergency response skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
36 Hours per Week
• Weekly Gross: $2,842
• Base Rate: $24.00/hr
• Overtime Rate: $36.00/hr
• Weekly Stipend: $1,834
48 Hours per Week
• Weekly Gross: $3,650
• Base Rate: $29.50/hr
• Overtime Rate: $44.25/hr
• Weekly Stipend: $1,939
