Job Overview
We are hiring Plant Helpers for a large industrial manufacturing facility in Gallatin, TN. This position supports production teams across multiple departments and involves hands-on work in a heavy industrial environment.
This role is physically demanding and requires individuals who are comfortable working in challenging plant conditions and around heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist production and maintenance teams with daily plant operations
- Move and handle raw materials and finished products
- Monitor equipment and report issues to supervisors
- Support basic equipment cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Perform general labor tasks throughout the facility as needed
Work Environment
This is a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. Employees must be comfortable working in:
- Hot and dusty production areas
- Cold conditions in some departments
- Areas with heavy machinery and moving conveyors
- Environments with stairs, heights, and confined spaces
- Physically demanding conditions requiring standing, lifting, and walking throughout the shift
Schedule
- 12-hour rotating shifts with Mandatory OT
- Must be open to days, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Training may begin on first shift before moving to an assigned shift
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical labor in a demanding environment
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
