We are hiring a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift position. This role is a great fit for an RN who enjoys supporting patients and families through one of the most important moments of their lives while working in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Current L&D openings are full-time nights, 36 hours/week, 7:00pm–7:00am.
What You’ll Do
As an L&D RN, you will provide direct nursing care to laboring patients, postpartum patients, newborns, and families. You’ll work closely with physicians, midwives, anesthesia, nursery/NICU teams, and other clinical staff to support safe, compassionate care.
Responsibilities may include:
- Monitoring maternal and fetal status
- Supporting patients through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
- Assisting with vaginal deliveries and C-sections
- Providing patient and family education
- Responding quickly to changes in condition
- Collaborating with the care team to ensure safe outcomes
- Documenting care accurately and timely
What We’re Looking For
- Active Illinois RN license
- Labor & Delivery RN experience preferred
- BLS required
- NRP preferred or required depending on facility requirements
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work full-time night shift, 36 hours/week
Compensation & Benefits Highlights
- Pay range: $36.00 – $55.80/hour, based on experience
- Night shift differential available
- Weekend and holiday differential opportunities
- Holiday pay at time and one-half for hours worked, plus applicable shift differential
- Tuition reimbursement available:
- $4,000 annually for full-time
- $2,000 annually for part-time
- Full benefits package available for review
