Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our Cardiology Department in Kalamazoo, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist cardiologists and other medical staff during procedures
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensure proper functioning and cleanliness
- Monitor patient vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the medical team
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Participate in training and education programs to stay up-to-date with latest technologies and techniques
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Basic life support certification (BLS)
