Position: Compensation Project Manager
Department: Compensation Administration
Type: Hybrid
Purpose: To support the Administration’s initiative to revamp its compensation structure through job evaluations, grade structures, market pricing, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct job evaluations, benchmarking, and grade/slotting recommendations
- Perform quality checks and finalize job family assignments
- Develop and summarize grade structures into a control document
- Prepare and lead meetings with HR Business Partners and stakeholders
- Support modeling for leadership presentations and help draft salary administration guidelines
- Research compensation requests and manage participation in salary surveys
Must-Have Requirements:
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of broad-based compensation experience
- Hands-on experience with job descriptions, job evaluations, and compensation analysis
- Proven track record of leading meetings and working with multiple stakeholders
- Skills:
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, conditional formatting)
- Skilled in PowerPoint and presentation drafting
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Social Science, Analytics, or related field
- Equivalent experience may substitute for formal education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a related field
- Certifications: CCP, SPHR/PHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP
- Experience managing a small team (up to 5)
- Familiarity with project management concepts
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., modeling, macros, analytics)
