Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and strategic President of Operations to lead our organization’s operational excellence and growth initiatives. This pivotal role requires a dynamic leader who can drive process improvements, oversee daily operations, and develop innovative strategies to expand our market presence. The President of Operations will inspire teams, manage complex projects, and ensure our business remains agile, efficient, and customer-focused.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute strategic planning initiatives to align operational goals with company vision and growth targets
- Oversee all aspects of operations management, including supply chain, logistics, inventory control, and vendor relationships
- Drive continuous process improvement through change management techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support sustainable growth and profitability
- Supervise senior leadership teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance
- Develop business development strategies to identify new market opportunities and expand customer base
- Oversee project management efforts across multiple departments, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met
Requirements
- Proven experience in operations management with a strong background in strategic planning and process improvement
- Demonstrated success in senior leadership roles within distribution or related industries
- Extensive supervising experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams at all levels
- Expertise in change management, business development, project management, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on driving organizational growth and operational excellence
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in management or leadership are preferred
