Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong Front-End Engineering background to lead and deliver complex UI-focused technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical expertise in modern front-end frameworks while driving Agile project execution, stakeholder alignment, and delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Plan, execute, and deliver front-end development projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Define project milestones, track dependencies, manage risks, and ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, and business stakeholders.
Technical Leadership
- Provide technical oversight for front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Review architecture and technical designs to ensure best practices in UI/UX, performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Guide development teams on coding standards, CI/CD integration, and testing strategies.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business, design, and engineering teams.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to leadership.
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
Quality Assurance & Delivery
- Ensure high-quality deliverables through unit, integration, and UI testing.
- Oversee testing frameworks such as JEST, Cucumber, and Storybook.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and coding standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 years of IT experience with 3 years in Technical Project Management.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies: Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, Monorepo architecture.
- Experience with API integration, RESTful services, and responsive design principles.
- Hands-on knowledge of testing frameworks: JEST, Cucumber, Storybook.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and AWS cloud services:
- CloudFormation, Lambda, S3, IAM Roles, DynamoDB, Glue.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Python knowledge is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Front-End Developer or Technical Lead.
- Exposure to performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are highly desirable.
