The Electrical Engineering Lead will be responsible for providing advanced technical support, leading electrical design activities, and supporting gas/steam turbine generator projects. This role requires strong leadership, deep electrical engineering expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and global partners.

• Provide technical support during application, design, and installation phases of projects.
• Collaborate with sourcing, services, requisition engineering, global engineering, and equipment suppliers.
• Lead development and implementation of electrical MSD (Material Shipped Direct) equipment for turbine generator units.
• Support requisition management to meet cycle-time targets and improve delivery processes.
• Ensure on-time delivery of engineering and customer deliverables.
• Lead technical electrical & generator discussions with domestic and international customers.
• Manage risk strategy related to factory hardware, installation issues, and design deviations.
• Interpret and implement contract requirements and design standards.
• Stay updated with global electrical codes, tools, and engineering processes.
• Support cost-saving initiatives and technical improvements.

• Extensive experience with detailed engineering for Gas & Steam power plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Motor Control Centers (MCC)
• Batteries & compartments
• 52G Generator Breaker
• Neutral grounding equipment
• Generator protection
• AC/DC panel boards and cabinets
• Electrical compartments & transformers
• Expertise in Cable Sizing as per NEC.
• Skilled in developing Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
• Preparing technical specifications for power plant electrical systems.
• Supplier coordination: reviewing & approving drawings and documents.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple departments.
• Understanding of NEC, ANSI, IEEE, IEC standards.
• Experience reviewing customer specs and preparing deviation lists.
• Excellent documentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
