We are looking for a Junior Japanese Bilingual Project Manager to support project planning, coordination, communication, and day-to-day project activities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with both Japanese-speaking and English-speaking teams and will help ensure projects stay on track.
Responsibilities
- Support project planning, scheduling, tracking, and coordination.
- Coordinate with Japanese and English-speaking teams, customers, and stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and prepare meeting notes and action items.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, risks, and issues.
- Follow up with team members on pending tasks and deadlines.
- Prepare project status reports, presentations, and documentation.
- Assist with communication between U.S. and Japan-based teams.
- Help identify project issues and escalate them to senior project managers.
- Support general project administration and coordination activities.
Required Qualifications
- Japanese and English bilingual communication skills - (Reading, writing, speaking) required.
- 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business operations, or a related field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
Preferred
- Experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese clients.
- Experience in the automotive/manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
- Experience coordinating projects between U.S. and Japan teams.
