PROLIM (www.prolim.com) is currently seeking Structural Engineer 3 for one of our top clients in El Segundo, CA
Citizens only. Due to client requirements and the nature of the position, non-citizens are not eligible to apply.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The role focuses on performing structural and stress analysis for tooling fixtures, assembly work stands, lifting jigs, and other aerospace manufacturing equipment.
Required Skills & Experience
· Structural analysis using hand calculations and FEA (FEMAP/NASTRAN).
· Experience with stress analysis, static and dynamic loading, fatigue, stability, damage tolerance, and durability.
· Create and review structural analysis reports.
· Knowledge of CAD tools (NX and CATIA) and creating fabrication drawings.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ASME Y14.5, and GD&T standards.
· Experience with tooling, fabrication, machine shop, or production manufacturing involving metallic, composite, or non-metallic materials.
· Evaluate engineering designs for compliance with standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
· Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
· Bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
· Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
· Professional Engineer (PE) license (or pursuing one).
· Experience with tooling mechanics, fabrication processes, and stress analysis.
· Active DoD Secret Clearance is a plus.

Pay: $70.00 - $78.00 per hour
