Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced PIM Architect / Senior Developer to lead the solution design, architecture, and integration strategy for a large-scale Product Information Management (PIM) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining data models, ensuring data governance, overseeing integrations with enterprise platforms, and providing technical leadership to development teams. This role requires strong architectural vision, hands-on system integration skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

• Lead end-to-end architecture for the PIM ecosystem, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with business objectives.
• Develop integration strategies and design system workflows for enterprise product data operations.

Data Modeling & Governance

• Define and maintain product data models, taxonomies, classifications, attributes, and workflows.
• Establish data governance standards and ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy across product information.

System Integration

• Oversee integrations between PIM and enterprise platforms including:
• eCommerce systems (Shopify, Magento)
• ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle)
• DAM systems
• OMS and other downstream applications
• Utilize REST/SOAP APIs and data transformation tools to ensure high-performance, reliable integrations.

Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on technical expertise to developers and project teams.
• Guide configuration, troubleshoot complex system issues, and enforce best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product data teams, business stakeholders, and channel owners to understand requirements and design optimal solutions.
• Communicate progress, risks, and technical considerations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Performance Optimization

• Monitor and optimize PIM system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability as product catalogs grow.

Project Management Support

• Assist in project planning, sprint setup, task definition, and resource allocation.
• Support timeline management, progress tracking, and change control processes.

Technology Evaluation & Innovation

• Stay current on emerging PIM trends and next-generation capabilities.
• Evaluate new features, tools, and AI-driven enhancements to improve product content quality and operational efficiency.

Documentation & Training

• Produce comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, data flows, and process mappings.
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PIM architecture, data modeling, and enterprise system integrations.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, integration middleware, and transformation tools.
• Background in eCommerce, ERP, DAM, and product data workflows.
• Proven ability to lead development teams and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in large-scale product catalog management is a plus.
