ProLift Warehouse Solutions is seeking an experienced Field Dock and Door Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services to all classes of loading dock equipment and industrial/commercial doors at customer locations.
We’re looking for professionals who take pride in solving problems, delivering exceptional customer service, and working independently.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair warehouse and loading dock equipment
- Troubleshoot dock levelers, dock lifts, dock seals and shelters, and vehicle restraints
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software
- Complete accurate service documentation
- Recommend repairs that improve customer uptime and equipment reliability
- Maintain company vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally
What We’re Looking For
- 1 years of experience repairing industrial equipment, rolling steel doors, overhead doors, fire doors, commercial dock doors, dock levelers and restraints
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Technical school education, preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Strong welding skills
- Ability to read leveler or restraint schematics
- Experience with diagnostic software, preferred
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, DOT regulated medical certification required (may require CDL)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, push and pull up-to 75lbs and work in various environments such as outdoor rain or snow conditions
Preferred Experience:
- Commercial dock and door experience
- Fire Door Certification
- Welding and fabrication experience
