What are the responsibilities and job description for the After Market Sales Representative position at ProLift Toyota Material Handling?
ProLift Toyota Material Handling is looking for an Aftermarket Sales Rep. You will be responsible for the growth of parts, service, and rental sales, as well as, customer service support for the Territory Account Managers. The associate in this position must demonstrate in-depth product knowledge and the aptitude to learn product specifications quickly. The Aftermarket Sales Rep/CSSR is an ambassador to the company and should always conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the company's culture and values.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build effective relationships with ProLift Toyota Material Handling customers, prospects, vendors, and associates
- Promote the company's culture and values
- Ensure customer satisfaction is the number one priority and be an effective business partner to current and prospective customers by understanding their business needs
- Explore aftermarket growth opportunities with potential and current customers by cold calling and utilizing available marketing tools
- Achieve annual sales goals for service
- Promote tires, battery service, safety and other programs as solutions
- Follow up on VOC, customer issues, and settle disputes as necessary
- Manage consignment inventories, follow-up with leads and recommended repairs, shop jobs or other major field work
- Ensure professional development by participating in ProLift Training and other personal development programs
- Be open to coaching by the Sales Manager or location Operations Manager (TOL/CLE)/location General Manager(COL)
- Other duties as assigned by management
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sales and or service preferably in the forklift or heavy equipment industry; Bachelor's degree in lieu of experience
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
- Customer oriented; ensuring lasting relationships with our customers
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to overcome sales objections and maintain positivity
- Willingness to adopt new tools and technologies to improve performance
- Strong time management skills
- Goal oriented; always striving to exceed standards
- Possess strong commitment to team environment dynamics
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required
WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- May experience moderate noise levels throughout the day
- Constant driving and talking occur in this position
- Occasionally may walk up and down stairs
- Attendance is an essential function of this job
- May be required to stand or sit for extended periods of time
- This position sometimes requires sitting at a desk utilizing a computer and monitor as well as frequent use of tablets and mobile devices
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
?EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree or higher in Sales or Marketing related field is preferred but not required
