Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role in the Permian Basin for a Garage Door Technician. The technician will perform installation, maintenance, and repair work on residential and commercial garage doors. Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical issues, replacing damaged parts, and ensuring all work adheres to safety and quality standards. Technicians will also provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate service documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mechanical skills, including the use of power tools, hand tools, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in garage door systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess and resolve installation and repair challenges effectively.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients and address service needs.
• Ability to read technical manuals and specifications, and follow safety guidelines and protocols.
• Previous experience as a garage door technician or in a related mechanical/electrical trade is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
• Pass pre-employment drug test is required.
