Responsibilities
- Install holiday lighting displays on various building types, including high-rise windows, skylights, and storefronts, using ladders, scaffolding, or scissor lifts.
- Remove and store holiday lighting fixtures safely after the season concludes.
- Perform storefront window cleaning, interior and exterior window washing, utilizing tools such as pressure washers for window cleaning and traditional squeegee methods.
- Conduct high-rise building window cleaning using rope access techniques or specialized equipment like scaffolds and lifts while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Clean skylights, glass facades, and other outdoor surfaces with appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques.
- Maintain all cleaning tools and equipment in excellent condition; operate pressure washers, rope access gear, ladders, and janitorial supplies responsibly.
- Follow safety procedures diligently, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to ensure a secure working environment during outdoor work activities.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in outdoor cleaning, residential or commercial window cleaning preferred.
- Familiarity with ladder use, scaffolding, rope access techniques, or scissor lifts is highly desirable.
- Experience with storefront window cleaning and skylight maintenance is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during installations and removals.
- Ability to work safely at heights while following all safety protocols; experience with PPE use is essential.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions; previous outdoor work experience is advantageous.
- Janitorial or custodial experience related to commercial cleaning is beneficial but not required.
