Security Officer

We are in search of Full Time Security Officer to join our Security team in Ontario, CA.

Looking for someone with open and flexible availability to work any day of the week.

• Must be able to day, evening or grave shifts
• Must have valid CA BSIS Guard Card.
• Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time.
• Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
• As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

What will I be doing?

As a Security Officer, you would be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, clients, and property. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Patrol the interior of and the perimeter of the property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
• Gate keeper of client properties providing access control. Verifying authorized personnel and vehicle access onto properties.
• Respond to emergency situations including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.
• Promote safe work practices.
• Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents, as needed.
• Writes reports and ensures accuracy of necessary documentation, as needed.
• Respond to client and guest inquiries and requests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
