Cultivation Assistant – Entry Level
Sunshine Farms is a licensed cannabis producer and processor in Vancouver, WA. We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Cultivation Assistant to join our cultivation team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is motivated, dependable, and ready to learn. Cannabis industry experience is not required — we can teach the work. What matters most is finding someone with the right mindset and work ethic.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Plant care and maintenance
- Watering and feeding
- Pruning, defoliation, transplanting, and harvesting
- Cleaning and sanitation of cultivation areas
- Moving materials and supplies throughout the facility
- Following company procedures and compliance requirements
- Assisting with additional cultivation tasks as needed
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This is physically demanding, hands-on work in an active cultivation environment. Candidates should understand the nature of the job before applying.
Team members regularly:
- Stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
- Work directly on plant tables, including tasks that may require kneeling or lying across tables for plant maintenance
- Lift and move materials throughout the shift
- Work in warm, humid conditions designed to support plant growth (typically 75°F–85°F with elevated humidity)
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the task being performed
This position is best suited for individuals who enjoy physical work and can maintain a steady pace throughout the day.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
- Candidate must have flexibility in their schedule for rotating weekend shifts
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Prior cultivation or cannabis experience is a plus, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 per hour
