JOB SUMMARY |
The LTC Technician (In‑House Operations) cum Trainer is responsible for executing, supporting, and continuously improving Load Tap Changer (LTC) assembly, overhaul, testing, and controls activities within the company’s internal operations and training environments. This role serves as a technical authority and trainer, ensuring high-quality execution of LTC-related work while developing technical competency across internal assembly teams and external customers through structured classroom and hands-on training delivered at the BU Training Center. The position requires deep technical expertise in LTC systems, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into effective learning experiences. The role works closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sales/Marketing, and Manufacturing plants to support operational excellence and capability development. |
KEY ROLE OBJECTIVES
- Ensure accurate and reliable LTC assembly, overhaul, electrical testing, and controls support for in-house operations.
- Serve as a technical mentor and certified trainer for employees and customers.
- Standardize work practices, testing methods, and training materials aligned with company procedures and industry standards.
- Strengthen internal capability to support global field service, manufacturing, and customer support needs.
