Develop the design of control and information for manufacturing based on the rules and standards applicable to the function, meeting customer expectations and adhering to the process and fulfilling the defined cycles of the design engineering function.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
Complete transformer mechanical design including internal and external layout of components and accessories based on documentation provided in project design folder, standard practices, and/or from technical advisors. - Prepare wiring diagrams of the instruments and accessories for transformer monitoring, adhering to the requirements of the customer specification, functional standards and current regulations.

- Prepare wiring diagrams for alarms and signals that adhere to the requirements of the client's specification, conceptual design information, function standards and current regulations.
- Prepare wiring diagrams for current transformers that adhere to the requirements of the customer's specification, conceptual design information, functional standards, and current regulations.
- Prepare wiring diagrams for the cooling circuit that adhere to the requirements of the customer's specification, conceptual design information, functional standards, current regulations, and mechanical design data.

Excellent process and problem-solving skills - Duties require an understanding of shop methods, industry standards, and drafting procedures

- Computer skills: highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ProE, PTC Creo
- Knowledge of conceptual design, mechanical design, and external connections

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE |
Required Education / Experience- Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering Drafting and Design or related field
- Previous experience in PTC Creo ideal
Preferred Experience/ Education - Engineering Organization, including mechanical, electrical, manufacturing and applications engineering groups
- Operations Management, including plant Supervision, Quality, Planning, etc.
