Job Description
- OIT supplemental DB2 Technical/Database support for upgrading DB2 Version 10 to Version 11.
- Maintain and support DB2 databases, providing backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor space utilization for all DB2 databases, logs, etc. Monitor DB2 database fragmentation and perform reorgs when required.
- Provide logical and physical database design and implementation of physical DB structures into DB2 DBMS.
- Provide technical and lead Database support for OIT projects to facilitate successful completion of established goals.
- Daily core-hour onsite support presence and on-call availability during off hours
- CA DB2 SYSVIEW monitoring.
- Understanding of NJ OIT business processes and operations.
- 10 years of IBM DB2.
- 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study.
